And running for Place 5 on Frisco City Council!
It is impossible to find a candidate that has the same experience as we do - someone who has the same definitions and points of view. I believe that what we get with Hava is someone open to seeing others' points of view and situations. Someone who is not just willing, but seeks to learn and who will continue to reach to understand others. Let's work together to get Hava elected so we can have a local government that considers the effect of what they do on all of us.

I've known Hava long enough to know she is one of the most dedicated when it comes to serving a community. Whether it's helping a family facing hard times, or fighting for the marginalized and forgotten, she's one of the first to step up and help. When it comes to ensuring Frisco is taken care of, Hava will definitely put the city first, ahead of her own interests.

Frisco is a great city where my wife and I chose to raise our family. The beauty of Frisco lies in our diversity. We need our local government to be representative of what Frisco’s population looks like. Hava Johnston will bring the much needed diversity of ideas, diversity of thoughts and diversity of gender. She will listen to all of us and she will be a breath of fresh air. Richard Dennis

Issues Facing Frisco
Frisco needs places for our workforce to live within our community. Our city’s labor force has a huge turnover rate, and many will leave their jobs in Frisco due to lack of affordable housing.
We must continue to work to keep property taxes from increasing too quickly, which is making it more and more difficult for the average family to afford.
Our city is growing rapidly and must maintain the infrastructure currently in place — in addition to bringing it into the future.
Pet and Animal Welfare
Frisco must develop a new animal ordinance that includes the minimum of a 72 hour holding facility for Frisco pets and additionally bans the retail sale of dogs and cats within its city. With 2.5 pets per household, it is time for Frisco to become pet friendly.
Frisco must develop a public transportation system — whether it’s buses, trolleys, trains, etc. We need to ensure that the area around the train tracks stay clear of development that would hinder a future expansion of DART.
We have an extremely diverse and multicultural city, and must increase our community outreach programs and encourage more culture events and education.
Disabled Community Programs and Outreach
Frisco needs to ensure that ALL of our citizens are aware of the services their city offers — as well increase the services they offer to the disabled community. We must improve communication with law enforcement and ER responders, while also creating programs for blind, deaf, and differently abled adults and children.
